is a consulting and locum tenens company dedicated to assisting clinics and providers by facilitated continuity of care and by bridging the service gap to address personnel shortages and service expansion. By incorporating experienced and knowledgeable medical services providers into our model of consulting and locum services, we can offer in-depth support assistance and thoughtful development of quality management programs and implementation activities, all while maintaining continuity of care. These services include development and implementation of quality management, clinical safety and effectiveness programs, implementation of value-based care models, organizational development, leadership training, as well as government and industry grant writing. 

Leadership

Dr. Laura Armas-Kolostroubis, MD knows leadership is everything and brings a results-focused leadership style, bolstered with over 25 years of experience. She is an HIV specialist with experience in public, private, and academic settings. She has implemented innovative approaches to providing excellent care through education, training, and research. As the Chief Medical Officer at CAN Community Health, she provided executive leadership for medical services and developed strategic plans for business development. She has also trained and educated over 100 medical, dental, and behavioral health providers. She holds a strong background in clinical research and has supervised clinical staff in maintaining high standards of care. Dr. Armas-Kolostroubis has collaborated with various departments and organizations to optimize care for people living with or at risk for HIV. A dedicated provider for the HIV/AIDS community, Dr. Armas-Kolostroubis has been recognized with honors and awards for her contributions to treatment and research.

Integrative Facilitator

Dr. Jeffrey Beal is an Internal Medicine Specialist and an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist, who is recognized nationally as an educator and administrator for his work as Clinical Director and Principal Investigator of the Florida/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC). His career spans over four decades and includes 15 years of primary care and treatment of HIV within a private practice setting and over 22 years in the public health setting. Of those 22 years, Dr. Beal spent 14 serving as the Medical Director of the HIV/AIDS section in the Division of Disease Control and Health Protection within the Bureau of Communicable Disease for the Florida Health Department. And over this tenure, Dr. Beal has amassed a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the administration of Ryan White HIV/AIDS Programs Part A, B, C, and F.

 

Dr. Beal has been a champion of practitioner education guided by medical record reviews in clinical settings as well as embracing innovation to meet patient needs. His clinical care improvement efforts include leading a clinical team for the development of electronic health record templates for the health department Rapid Initiation of HIV treatment and Retention in Care Program (Test and Treat) as well as prevention templates for Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) initiation and monitoring. On an adherence and access-to-care level, Dr. Beal boasts extensive experience utilizing innovative Telehealth methods to maintain persons in care for ongoing HIV care and medication needs and for PrEP and Non-Occupational Post Exposure Prophylaxis (nPEP) services. And despite having formally retired in 2002 from daily active patient care, he remains resolute in achieving his goal of expanding service access for persons in need of HIV, STD, and HCV treatment nationwide.
